Senior Remittance Clerk-Dongguan
Job Duties:
Inward Remittance/Clean Cheque Collection
To process payment of all inward remittances (including TT and DD) received from HUB MAS/SWIFT/Speedlink Telex properly and promptly.
To capture transactions onto the HUB system for approval of SH/OIC/manager , record transaction details in inward TT/DD registers and notify the payee.
To ensure that payees complete SAFE’s international inward funds statistics forms and obtain necessary supporting documents in line with SAFE regulations.
To handle clean cheque collections and chase payment as necessary.
Outward Remittance / Snag Case Handling
To receive outward TT/DD and RMB Conversion applications in paper form and via Hexagon and ensure customer authorisation is authenticated.
To scrutinise the supporting documents, perform on-line check on Customs Invoice Verification system and ensure that all SAFE regulations have been complied with.
To check and ensure that correct CBIC/SWIFT codes of correspondent banks are used in constructing outward TTs.
To capture transactions onto the HUB system for approval of SH/OIC/manager l. Record transaction details in outward TT/DD registers.
To prepare local bank payment orders/cheques for OIC/manager’s sign-off.
To handle snag items and prepare relevant telexes and correspondences.

To safeguard the Bank’s interest by keeping alert to any irregular situations which may give rise to suspicion of money laundering and reporting such instances to management immediately.
To maintain a systematic filing system for all remittance-related documents.
To assist in month-end suprise balancing of Remittances G/L accounts.
To back up other BSV staff as required.
Job Requirements:
3-4 years related working experience;
